Message from the Parent & Family Center  (Mensaje del Centro de Padres y Familia) 

 

Foothill High School acknowledges the importance of parent and family involvement, and we value your support. We feel it is very important that all of our families feel welcomed, and that you have a place to call your own on our campus. The Parent and Family Center is open during and after school hours to accommodate all our families. If you are in need of individual support, please call me and make an appointment so that we can provide you with specific assistance.

Parents if you had a student that graduated from our school site in the last 5 years, you probably already created an FSA ID account, you can not create a second one. If you do not have your log in credentials and do not remember your security question to access your account? you will need to call the number above to validate your identity and reset your credentials. I apologize for this inconvenience, but staff can not make this call on your behalf as they will only speak to the account holder for validation. We can however assist you with sending them the information requested for this please make an appointment with Ms. Daisy.

The FAFSA questions ask for information about you (your name, date of birth, address, etc.) and about your financial situation. Depending on your circumstances (for instance, whether you’re a U.S. citizen or what tax form you used), you might need the following information or documents as you fill out the application:
 
  • Your Social Security number (it’s important that you enter it correctly on the FAFSA form!)
  • Your parents’ Social Security numbers if you are a dependent student
  • Your driver’s license number if you have one
  • Your Alien Registration number if you are not a U.S. citizen
  • Federal tax information or tax returns including IRS W-2 information, for you (and your spouse, if you are married), and for your parents if you are a dependent student:
  • IRS 1040
    Foreign tax return, IRS 1040NR, or IRS 1040NR-EZ
  • Information on cash; savings and checking account balances; investments, including stocks and bonds and real estate (but not including the home in which you live); and business and farm assets for you, and for your parents if you are a dependent student
Keep these records! You may need them again. Do not mail your records.

Las preguntas de la FAFSA solicitan información referida a su persona (su nombre, fecha de nacimiento, dirección, etc.) y acerca de su situación financiera. Según sus circunstancias (por ejemplo, si es un ciudadano estadounidense o qué formulario de declaración de impuestos utilizó), podría necesitar la siguiente información o los siguientes documentos para llenar la solicitud:

Please allow our team partner a 48 hour response time as this is a very busy time of year for us all. Remember that your school site staff is also available to assist you.

You will need to contact the school to get an "Activation Key" for ParentVue.  If you have any additional questions please contact Ms. Daisy in the Parent & Family Center.
