Here is the latest info we have on athletic team practices. See Mr. Biezad in E-12 if you need a physical form and/or if you have questions about these or any FHS Athletics.
FOOTBALL: Mon/Wed/Fri – 6:00am to 7:00am in the weight room, 7:00am passing on the field; Tue/Thurs – 6:00pm to 7:30pm on the field. Runs from June 3 through June 28. Will begin again on first official day of Fall practice, Monday, July 29.

CROSS COUNTRY: Begins Monday, June 17, at 6:00pm. Meet behind the gym.

VOLLEYBALL, GIRLS TENNIS, and GIRLS GOLF: Will not start until Fall practices begin on Monday, July 29.

BASEBALL: Will begin Monday, July 1, at 3:00pm at the varsity baseball field and will run through July 12.

Historic Winter Sports Season finishes with 2 All-Area Coaches of the Year, an All-Area Player of the Year, and 6 players named to the all-area teams!

Everyone knows that the winter sports season of 2018-2019 was historic for Foothill resulting in a state title for basketball, a valley title for soccer, and a league title for girls wrestling, but the recognition doesn't stop there. 2 of Foothill's coaches have been named as the All-Area Coach of the year for their sports. Congratulations to Coach Davis and Coach Rose. These are accolades which are well deserved.
In addition to having 2 coaches of the year, Foothill also has 6 athletes who have been placed on the All-Area team for their accomplishments.
Boys Basketball: Edward Squid Turner (also named All-Area Player of the Year) and Elijah Seales
Boys Soccer: Juan Ojeda and Everardo Arce
Girls Wrestling: Kendra Juarez and Ariana Juarez

New Student Drop Off Open as of February 12!

As Foothill High School undergoes modernization, we are excited to announce that we have a new parent drop-off and pick-up located on Foothill Road. The drop-off and pick-up will open to parents on February 12, 2019. Parents will head East on Foothill Road and turn right into the parent drop-off and pick-up. Parents will turn right onto Foothill Road to exit the parent drop-off and pick-up. Please see the map, which is available by clicking on the headline. Please utilize this drop-off and pick- up location. The front lot will no longer be open for parent drop-off or pick-up. Please let us know if you have any questions.

La nueva area donde se dejan los estudiantes abrira el 12 de febrero.

Mientras Foothill High School se somete a modernización, nos complace anunciar que tenemos una nueva zona para dejar y recoger a los alumnos situado en la calle Foothill Dr. Abrirán la zona el 12 de febrero de 2019. Los padres se dirigirán hacia el este en la calle Foothill Drive y darán vuelta a la derecha para entrar a la zona. Para salir de la zona, los padres darán vuelta hacia a la derecha solamente para entrar a la calle Foothill. Por favor vea el mapa abajo para direcciones. Favor de utilizar esta área para dejar y recoger a su estudiante(s) de esta fecha en adelante. El estacionamiento al frente de la cafetería ya no se abrirá para dejar o recoger estudiantes. IMPORTANT Summer School Update

Due to the need for an early dismissal on Thursday 6/6, the release time for the rest of the 1st session of summer school (June 3 - June 14) will be changed to 2:30pm. The summer school day will be 7:30am - 2:30pm through June 14.

Jose Gallegos awarded prestigious John McLemore award!

Senior Jose Gallegos is the 2018 recipient of the John McLemore Memorial Award. John was an outstanding FHS student, and ASB president, and a multi-sport athlete who was killed fighting in Vietnam. This award is very special and we thank Coach Ned Permenter for founding this award many years ago. Congrats to Jose - you make Trojans proud.

Student Parking Permit Needed

All students must have a parking permit to park on campus. Parking permits are available at the Dean's Office. Vehicles without permits will begin receiving warnings the week of 10/8/2018. Warnings will eventually turn into citations so make sure to pick up your parking permits ASAP.
