Registration info for next year's Freshman Class

Clicking on the headline will take you to a page with current registration information we have. Stop by the school to get a registration packet, join us Thursday the 8th as we host Trojan Showcase, a virtual information night, and make your plans to return completed registration forms on the 13th-15th (see the post for more information).

Virtual Tutoring Now Available On All School Days

KHSD is proud to announce a virtual tutoring program open to all KHSD students. Virtual tutoring sessions will be offered Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) starting at 1:30pm. To access the virtual tutoring sessions, click on Help on the left-hand side navigation menu of Canvas and click on the link titled KHSD Virtual Tutoring. On this page you will find important information, including the virtual tutoring schedule, and the subject specific Zoom links for these virtual tutoring sessions.

Is your contact info correct?

It is important that the correct parent/guardian phone numbers and student mailing address are correct in Synergy/ParentVue. This ensures that communication from the school gets to the right place and it's imperative should we ever need an emergency contact that we can indeed reach a parent/guardian. Click on the headline for a form you can use to make updates to your contact information.

Kern County Career Awareness Month

The Kern High School District is excited to partner with the Kern County Superintendent of Schools and local businesses for Career Awareness Month for an interactive and virtual experience. It is an opportunity for students, parents, and community members to connect with business leaders, explore career paths, and receive more information about the offered career tech programs. BC Application and Update Workshops

If you haven't attended a workshop for the Bakersfield College Application process, they have added some more dates for you to choose from! In college, classes fill up quickly, so this is an awesome opportunity. The BC Application/Update Workshops remaining will be held on Tuesday, 1/26/21 and Thursday, 1/28/21.
All workshops will be held from 1:30pm-3:30pm

NEW Club: Las TECH'anas

We have a brand new club on campus: Las TECH'anas. The goal of the Las TECH’anas Club is to reach ALL students and to empower students with 21st century coding skills. Come and have fun programming with Las TECH'anas with our virtual meetings every Wednesday afternoon (3:00-4:00). Contact for more info!
