2019 Highlights: Despite not have any 'home' games for the 2019-20 school year due to construction on campus, the football program had success this season. Varsity finished with a 4-6 regular season record, breaking a long losing streak in the second game of the year against Arvin. They qualified for the CIF playoffs for the first time in 8 years, were seeded #8 in Division 6, and hosted Minarets in the first round. After defeating Minarets, the Trojans fought hard but lost their 2nd round game against top seeded Bishop.
2020 Highlights: The 2020 football season actually took place in spring of 2021 due to the Covid-19 closures. The season consisted of 5 games and the Trojans got to play three of those at home in their newly renovated and beautiful stadium. Opening night in the Ned Permenter Stadium concluded with a victory over Arvin and the third home game was our senior night against Kern Valley in which the Trojans were again victorious. With only a small handful of seniors leaving the team after our short spring season, the Trojans are ready to come back in full force in the fall of 2021!
2021 Highlights: The 2021 Trojans were back and ready for real action in the Ned Permenter Stadium. The team finished 9-2 for the season and once again making it to the playoffs hosting and beating the West High Vikings 22-14 in round 1 but fell to a heartbreaking loss against Mendota in round 2. This was the 2nd out of 2 possible years in a row the Trojans made it to the CIF Central Section Playoffs and the Trojans are looking to keep that streak alive in the 2022-23 season.
